Therapy

Therapy is an interpersonal intervention used by trained individuals to increase a clients sense of well-being. Therapists use various techniques based on relationship building dialogue, communication, and behavior change that are intended to improve the mental health of a client. While some approaches do utilize classic talk therapy, there are numerous types of therapy that can be used to help client overcome problems.

The goal of therapy is to provide a nonjudgmental environment that allows the client and therapy provider to work together towards a mutually agreed upon set of goals.
